Rochester, NY artist, Brenda Killackey-Jones, has been creating one-of-a-kind creatures for the last six years. She uses mixed media to create "2D/3D" images of imaginative personalities from pop-culture's far off lands.
In 2019, she was selected by a panel of Disney judges to display her work at Disney's bi-annual D23 fan convention August 23-25 in Anaheim, California.
Chosen from hundreds of entries, Killackey-Jones’ sculpture of the Haunted Mansion’s Hatbox Ghost was displayed in Anaheim during the Disney convention’s full run. Only twenty-three entrants were selected for this honor.
